Surf’s up for Democrats on the so-called “Red Wave” that never happened. HHHHHOOOOO BOY did you answer the call for our democracy on Tuesday! According to CNN, “Pennsylvania Democrats had the best Democratic campaign project in the nation,” and that’s all thanks to you.
Now for the results:
Governor-elect Josh Shapiro
You supported “true freedom” in Pennsylvania by electing Governor-elect Josh Shapiro tonight. Voters believed that women should have control over their own health decisions and that fascism had no place in Pennsylvania. In addition, Lt. Governor-elect Austin Davis becomes the 1st black Lt. Governor in Pennsylvania history!
Fetterman sends Oz back to New Jersey!
A HUGE victory for “real Pennsylvanians” happened tonight as John Fetterman was elected to the United States Senate, FLIPPING the seat held by Pat Toomey, and sending Mehmet Oz BACK TO NEW JERSEY! In addition, Democrats’ chances of controlling the Senate have increased considerably.
“Bye Guy”: Chrissy Houlahan re-elected
At 2:33am, the Associated Press projected that Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan will win re-election against Guy Ciarrocchi. While control of the US House is still up for grabs and “Leans Republican”, it’s certain to say that the GOP did NOT get their desired large majority.
Shusterman victorious; PA House on verge of historic Democratic majority
State Rep. Melissa Shusterman appears to have defeated Sarah Marvin, holding a commanding lead with mail-in ballots still to count.
But in an EVEN MORE SHOCKING RESULT is that the PA House is on the verge of flipping to Democratic control for the 1st time in 30 years! Control of the chamber currently rests on 4 races in Southeastern PA, and we’ll keep you updated on what may happen in this historic night.
