A Citizen’s Perspective: Voter Rights and Disenfranchisement

A Citizen’s Perspective

A Monthly Forum to Discuss Current Issues

Monday September 10
7:30 – 9pm at the Tredyffrin Library
582 Upper Gulph Road, Wayne

Voting Rights and Voter Disenfranchisement

We have taken a couple of months off for summer, but it is time to get started once
again with our current events forum. Lots of issues to talk about, but we are going
to start with a very important issue…
Voting Rights and Voter Disenfranchisement
Voting is the foundation of our democracy. But exactly who can enjoy that
right has been ferociously debated since the founding of the nation. And
the fight goes on.

Please join us as we discuss where Voting Rights stand today and what we
should be doing about them.
We have the room starting at 7pm, so, please come a few minutes early for some
casual discussion. Please feel free to share this invitation broadly—all are welcome. We hope you
can join us…and bring a friend or two.
Any questions, please contact Jerry Henige, jhenige@verizon.net, 610 341-0756
