Conestoga High School once again led Pennsylvania in the number of National Merit Semifinalists, with 47 students earning the prestigious academic recognition in 2023.
National Merit Semifinalists are selected based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
Each year, only about 16,000 students nationwide — less than one percent of high school seniors — receive this distinction. These academically talented students will now compete for more than 7,600 scholarships awarded through the National Merit Scholarship Corporation and its sponsoring organizations.
Congratulations to all of the Conestoga scholars recognized for this outstanding achievement.
We also extend our thanks to the teachers, parents, families, school volunteers, administrators, support staff, and school board members who help make the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District one of the strongest public school systems in the region.
