Poll workers assisting voters at a polling place

Elections in Pennsylvania depend on thousands of citizens who volunteer their time to serve as poll workers. These individuals help check in voters, assist with the voting process, and ensure elections run smoothly and efficiently.

Poll workers play a vital role in protecting the integrity of our elections and helping neighbors participate in the democratic process.

While the position is a paid civic service role, many people participate because they want to contribute to their community and help ensure every eligible voter can cast a ballot.
