A Monthly Forum to Discuss Current Issues

Monday May 11

7:30 – 9pm – Changed – Virtual Meeting!

Partisan Gridlock: How We Got Here & How We Fix It  American democracy is at an impasse. After years of zero-sum trench warfare, our political institutions are deteriorating. Our norms are collapsing. The other side is seen as not just opponents, but as the enemy. In short, the two-party system is breaking our democracy, and destroying the shared sense of fairness and legitimacy on which democracy depends. Please join us as we discuss how we got to this critical juncture and what we can and should do to fix it.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing protocol, the meeting will be held virtually. Anyone wishing to attend, please send an email requesting the link to Jerry Henige at jhenige@verizon.net. We will distribute the link to those who have requested it before the meeting.
