Purpose
The Tredyffrin Township Arts Commission serves in an advisory capacity to support the preservation and promotion of arts, culture, and creative identity within the township. The Commission evaluates proposals for the creation of public art and provides recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.
What They Do
The Arts Commission provides guidance, advocacy, and leadership to expand the reach and impact of public art in the community. The Commission helps assess the artistic needs of residents, supports the development of a comprehensive township-wide plan to strengthen artistic and cultural resources, and advises the Board of Supervisors on matters related to the arts and cultural development in Tredyffrin Township.
Mission
The mission of the Arts Commission is to use the full spectrum of arts to create a sense of place and community in Tredyffrin Township. Their vision is to encourage wide participation in arts making to showcase all aspects of the Township, its citizens, and the beauty of the seasons.
