Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority
Purpose
The Tredyffrin Township Municipal Authority (TTMA) was created by the Board of Supervisors in 1960 under the Municipal Authorities Act of 1945. The Authority supports township infrastructure projects by providing financing for sanitary sewer and highway improvements.
What They Do
The Municipal Authority issues municipal bonds to fund major infrastructure projects within the township. The Authority owns the township’s sanitary sewer facilities and leases them to Tredyffrin Township for operation and maintenance.
Membership
The Municipal Authority consists of seven members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Members serve five-year terms.
Meeting Schedule
The Municipal Authority meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every third month, unless otherwise noted.
