Parks & Recreation Board
Purpose
The Tredyffrin Township Parks & Recreation Board advises the Board of Supervisors on matters related to township parks, recreation programs, and open space. The Board helps guide decisions regarding the acquisition, development, and use of park facilities and recreational resources.
What They Do
The Parks & Recreation Board oversees planning and recommendations for park sites, recreational facilities, and programming throughout the township. The Board works to ensure that parks and recreation opportunities support the needs of residents and enhance community life.
Mission
The mission of the Tredyffrin Township Parks & Recreation Board is to enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages through parks, recreation programs, and open space preservation.
Membership
The Parks & Recreation Board consists of nine volunteers. Seven members are appointed by the Board of Supervisors and two members are appointed by the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. Members serve staggered five-year terms.
Meeting Schedule
The Parks & Recreation Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted.
