Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board
Purpose
The Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board is the governing body of the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District. The Board is responsible for establishing district policies, setting the annual budget and tax rate, and providing oversight of the district’s educational programs and operations.
What They Do
The School Board adopts policies that guide the operation of the district and ensures that state and federal education requirements are met. The Board approves the district’s operating budget, oversees long-term planning for facilities and programs, and hires and evaluates the Superintendent of Schools, who manages the district’s day-to-day operations.
School Board meetings are open to the public and provide opportunities for residents to stay informed about district initiatives and offer public comment.
Membership
The School Board consists of nine elected members who serve four-year terms. Members represent three geographic regions within the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District.
Meeting Schedule
Regular School Board meetings, workshops, and special meetings are typically held on Monday evenings at 7:30 PM during the school year at Conestoga High School, 200 Irish Road, Berwyn, unless otherwise noted. Meeting locations may change, so residents should confirm details on the district website.
