At its January 2, 2024 regular meeting, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board authorized the district to enter into an Agreement of Sale for a property at 1200 West Swedesford Road in Berwyn.
The 15-acre property currently includes an approximately 80,000 square-foot office building that could potentially be converted for use as a future elementary school. The Agreement of Sale provides the district with a 60-day due diligence period to evaluate whether the property would be suitable for that purpose.
Special Meeting on January 17
The district will hold a special school board meeting to discuss the potential new school on January 17, 2024 at 7:30 PM at Conestoga High School.
Beginning at 7:00 PM, board members will be available in the lobby for coffee and conversation with community members. Residents are invited to learn more about the current utilization of district facilities, the possibility of a new elementary school, and the potential impact on the school community.
The meeting will also include opportunities for public comment.
