Marian Moskowitz Joins Delaware River Port Authority

Marianvertical 200Wolf Head Shot 200Gov. Wolf named six new members to the governing board of the bistate Delaware River Port Authority on Wednesday.

The agency, which operates the PATCO commuter rail line and four toll bridges between Philadelphia and South Jersey, is now run by 16 Democratic appointees or officeholders.

Wolf’s appointees are:

Ryan Boyer, of Philadelphia, business manager of the Laborers’ District Council of Metropolitan Philadelphia and Vicinity, which represents 5,000 workers on major construction projects. Boyer is expected to be named chairman of the DRPA board.

Marian Moskowitz, of Tredyffrin Township, a real estate developer and owner of the Franklin Commons office building in Phoenixville, as well as an active Democrat in Chester County politics.

Elinor Haider, of Philadelphia, the vice president, market development, of Veolia North America, an energy and water company.

Antonio Fiol-Silva, of Philadelphia, a principal of Wallace Robert & Todd, an urban design, architecture and development firm.

Rohan K. Hepkins, mayor of Yeadon and senior pastor of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Yeadon.

Whitney R. White, of Philadelphia, chairman of the Global Institute for Strategic Investment, a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that advocates for international trade.

The appointees will replace the members appointed by Wolf’s predecessor, Gov. Tom Corbett, a Republican. Two other Pennsylvania seats are occupied by the state auditor general and the state treasurer, by virtue of their elected positions
