In March, Tredyffrin Township police investigated multiple incidents of antisemitic and racially offensive graffiti reported at locations across the community.
On March 25, police were notified of antisemitic graffiti at a retail establishment in the Gateway Shopping Center along Valley Forge Road. The following day, officers were dispatched to Valley Forge Middle School after racially insensitive graffiti — including racial slurs and antisemitic symbols — was discovered on several signs.
Additional hateful symbols were later reported at Jenkins Arboretum, Forge Mountain, the intersection of Walker and Thomas Roads, and behind Gateway Shopping Center.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department condemned the incidents and encouraged anyone with information to contact the department’s Detective Division at 610-644-3221.
In response, the Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors passed a resolution on May 23 condemning antisemitism and all forms of hate.

Community members also organized a rally against antisemitism at Forge Mountain in Chesterbrook, where one of the symbols had been discovered.
The Tredyffrin Township Democratic Committee stands firmly against antisemitism, racism, and all forms of hate in our community.
