Alice Beck Dubow

Judge of the Superior Court
Judge Alice Beck Dubow (Incumbent)

Judge Alice Beck Dubow has served on the Superior Court since 2016, following eight years on the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, where she presided over criminal, civil, and juvenile cases.

Before taking the bench, she practiced law for more than two decades, including roles as Deputy General Counsel at Drexel University, Divisional Deputy City Solicitor for Philadelphia, and as a litigator in private practice. She began her legal career as a law clerk to Judge Edward G. Biester.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and its Law School, Judge Dubow is a member of the American Law Institute and serves on key statewide advisory committees, including the Juvenile Procedural Rules Committee and the Mental Health and Justice Advisory Committee.

She is also active in the nonprofit sector, having served on boards such as Carson Valley Children’s Aid, the Beck Institute, and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. Judge Dubow is widely respected for her experience, fairness, and deep commitment to justice.

It is critical that we retain Judge Dubow this November to ensure continued fairness and integrity on the Superior Court.
