Julie Mesaros

Dr. Julie K. Mesaros brings a wealth of experience as a K-12 teacher, public servant, civic leader, policy analyst, and stepparent to school-aged children. She is dedicated to supporting T/E School District’s strong tradition of teaching, curricular, and extracurricular excellence.
Dr. Mesaros has 10 years of teaching experience in special education or English language classrooms in the United States and abroad. She received an Excellence in Teaching award for her work with international students at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mesaros attended public and private K-12 schools and holds advanced degrees – Master of Education from Eastern University (summa cum laude); and a Doctorate in Public Policy and Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania (summa cum laude). Her doctoral dissertation focused on decision-making by K-12 public education administrators in Pennsylvania, discovering how public school administrators can effectively make decisions and work together with a school board.
Dr. Mesaros now serves as Chief of Staff for State Representative Chris Pielli, who represents residents and organizations in the 156th legislative district. She directs his district office, which serves constituents of the greater West Chester area in a non-partisan fashion to express their views and resolve state agency related matters. Dr. Mesaros would bring this “Service to All” philosophy to the role of School Board Director, weighing the concerns of taxpayers while prioritizing the needs of all students.
