Supreme Court of Pennsylvania
Below is our Congressional District. This was designed by a Republican controlled legislature in Harrisburg and the Republican controlled Supreme Court allowed it to stand despite numerous legal challenges. PA is now one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation.
The Pennsylvania constitution says:
representative districts, which shall be composed of compact and contiguous territory as nearly equal in population as practicable. Unless absolutely necessary no county, city, incorporated town, borough, township or ward shall be divided
This year we are electing 3 new judges to the Supreme Court. If we elect Democrats, they can sustain challenges to districts like ours.
Come out and vote on November 3 for the 3 Democratic candidates.
