This week Warren Kampf’s legislative mailing highlighted the re-opening of the Old Lancaster Road Bridge. Paid for by funds authorized by Act 89. Guess who voted against Act 89? Twice! Representative Kampf’s priorities are wrong for Tredyffrin and the people of the 157th House District.
Old Lancaster Road Bridge Opening Today
PennDOT’s contractor is planning to open the Old Lancaster Road Bridge over Amtrak today in Chester County. The project to rehabilitate the structurally-deficient bridge began on May 18 and Old Lancaster Road has been closed and detoured.
Built in 1957, the single-span riveted steel beam bridge is one of nine structures in Chester and Montgomery counties that PennDOT is repairing under a $7.2 million project financed by Act 89, the state’s transportation plan.
