May 6 Insider Presentations

Our spring Seis de Mayo fundraiser will be mostly socializing and a casual opportunity to meet our school board and supervisor candidates. However, political nerds will be pleased to learn that two knowledgeable insiders have confirmed their participation:
State Senator, Andy Dinniman, the minority chair of the Education Committee, has been struggling in Harrisburg with the Corbett budget cuts affecting school districts and making life more difficult for T/E School Board President Karen Cruickshank and member Kevin Buraks. Senator Dinniman will brief us on education funding.
Tredyffrin resident Jim Brown is Senator Bob Casey’s Chief of Staff. Senator Casey is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and Mr. Brown will be attending to share insider insights from Washington during this happening week.
