New Schedule for 2011 Meeting Dates

After polling our most active members, we have applied some flexibility to our 2011 monthly meeting schedule. We found the 4th Wednesday of each month to be most convenient for more members, and we have rescheduled most of monthly meetings to that pattern. Appreciation to Candidates/Attendees for Harvest Fest Fun

Harvest Fest AppreciationThanks to Congressional candidate Manan Trivedi and State Representative Paul Drucker for starting our evening so positively. We also appreciate Chesco Dem Vice-Chair Bob Graham for representing Dan Onorato’s gubernatorial campaign, and United Food & Commerical Workers Political Director John Myerson for not only advocating for Joe Sestak but also for inspiring words on grassroots work. Thanks to Faux Bo for a canine perspective.
We especially appreciate the outstanding organizing effort by our event planning hostess Christina Johnson. Thanks also to the food providers who worked with Christina to highlight locally-produced gourmet selections: Stargazer Vineyard, Chadds Ford Winery, fine cheeses from Yellow Springs Farm, Hendricks Farm, and Birchrun Hill Farm, and Matt Guyer from Wayne’s Beer Yard for the brew selections. Thanks to Mark Rustand from the Saturday Club for set-up help.
Thanks to all who attended, who donated money, who brought food, and contributed to conversation and a socially-satisfying evening.
