Changes to November Slate of Candidates

On June 22, the Tredyffrin Township Democratic Committee endorsed F. Michael “Murph” Wysocki to fill the role of candidate for At-Large Supervisor in the November election, after candidate Ernie Falcone had to bow out for personal reasons.  Wysocki will join Molly Duffy to contest the two open At-Large Supervisor seats.  In addition, John Cameron, who received 943 write-in ballots in the May primary, will run as candidate for Township Auditor.

Murph Wysocki portraitFor the past 24 years Wysocki has been a partner at the mid-Atlantic regional law firm of Saul Ewing, LLP, where he practices real estate law.  Prior to joining Saul Ewing, he spent an additional 12 years in commercial real estate at several law firms in the area.

He has supervised and participated in the structuring, negotiation, documentation, due diligence, and successful closing of numerous real estate and other transactions for all types of entities from publicly traded real estate companies to individuals.  His areas of expertise include representing developers in commercial, retail and office mixed-use projects, negotiating complex retail, commercial and industrial purchases and sales, developing and converting condominiums in Pennsylvania and representing real estate investment trusts.

Wysocki is a former president and board member of Radnor ABC (A Better Chance), and co-founder and former coach of the Devon-Strafford Challenger Little League Team for physically and mentally challenged children.  He has served for many years as a Committee Person and is currently the vice-chair of the TTDems.

Wysocki received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.  He received his undergraduate degree from George Washington University, magna cum laude, and elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Murph, and his wife Lois, have lived in Tredyffrin for 34 years.  They have one child, Dana, and three grandchildren, who with son-in-law Ben, live in Wallingford, PA.  Dana attended Tredyffrin schools K through 12.  Lois has taught for 35 years, the last 29 years in the Radnor Township School District, where she teaches Biology, Bioethics and Genetics.

John Cameron

John Cameron portraitJohn Cameron served on the Tredyffrin Township Park and Recreation Board, which oversees the acquisition, development and use of park sites and supervises park activities. He also served on the Task Force on Open Space and the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) which promotes environmental initiatives throughout our township.  Currently, he is a Committee Person.

Cameron is an Assistant Professor in the Management Division at Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies.  Prior to joining Penn State University, he was Assistant to the President, Temple University Health System.  His executive and legal experience included corporate positions at Methodist Hospital, a division of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Allegheny General Hospital, and Albert Einstein Medical Center.

His managerial responsibilities included the development of the corporate Audit Committee Charter in response to the Sarbanes Oxley Act of 2002.  In addition, he served as Secretary of the Board for three long- term care facilities, ambulatory and physician practices, and emergency transport companies and Assistant Corporate Secretary for ten healthcare corporations in an integrated delivery system.

Cameron received his law degree from Widener University School of Law.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, a Masters in Health Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Temple University and a Master of Laws degree in Corporate Law from New York University School of Law.

Cameron and his wife Eileen have lived in Tredyffrin Township for 30 years.  Their children, Meghan and Christopher graduated from Conestoga High School.
