Eugene DePasquale Wins Democratic Primary for Attorney General

Former Pennsylvania Auditor General Eugene DePasquale won the Democratic primary election for attorney general in a crowded field and will face York County District Attorney Dave Sunday in the November general election.

In Chester County the Chester County Democratic Committee endorsed candidate Jack Stollsteimer won handily, but did not have sufficient support elsewhere.

DePasquale said that his win shows voters want to protect democracy and reproductive rights, and that he’s excited by the opportunity to do so as the Democratic nominee.

Democrats across the state made me the nominee, and I’m looking forward to the fight ahead,” DePasquale said in an interview late Tuesday
