What If My Mail-In Ballot Goes Missing?
As Election Day approaches, we’re hearing concerns from folks who applied for a mail-in ballot and have not yet received it, or may have damaged or lost it (I spilled food on it, the cat ate it, etc.).
Good news! If you have applied for a mail-in ballot and the ballot is missing or damaged, you can go to a Voter Services office any time between now and the end of Election Day to get that ballot re-issued. This is true even though today (Tuesday, October 27) is the last day to make an initial application for a mail-in ballot, and also the last day to apply for a ballot in person if you have not previously applied.
