Rep. O’Mara Drive Thru Food Drive for Delco

In the Philadelphia Inquirer’s “The Region” section, an article by Maria Panaritis explained that Delaware County was hurting well before the pandemic.

Now, the need for food and supplies is even more urgent. The least well-off of the suburban counties, Delco with a population of 547,000 suffers from the effects of Covid-19 at about three times more than Chester County. The poverty rate is one in ten for our adjoining county.

Rep. Jen O’Mara is doing a drive-through food drive to aid Delco residents on Saturday, May 2 from 10 AM to 1 PM.

If you would like to contribute but don’t have time or inclination to drive to Springfield, the TTDems can arrange a pickup from your driveway or front door.
